Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Your 2 Days Masai Mara Safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive through the stunning Great Rift Valley, you’ll make a stopover at the Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of one of the world’s most remarkable geological features. The drive continues through dramatic landscapes towards the Masai Mara, where you’ll arrive at your camp/lodge and check in with lunch. Afterwards, you’ll embark on your first evening game drive.
The Masai Mara, famous for its rich biodiversity and dramatic scenery, offers a chance to spot some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffes. The reserve, at an altitude of 1,650 meters (5,414 feet), forms the northern extension of the Serengeti, extending over 1,510 square kilometers (almost 600 square miles).
Return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy your early breakfast at the camp/lodge before check out. Later, head out for a morning game drive until 12 noon or you may choose to take an optional visit to a Masai village for a cultural experience where you will learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Masai people (extra cost). After the visit, begin your 2 days Masai Mara Safari return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport marking the end of a memorable safari.
